Noreen Wedman, M.S. has a masters degree in Community Counseling from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. She completed training in working with survivors of emotional, sexual, and physical abuse during her internship at the Georgia Council on Child Abuse. Ms. Wedman is a counselor in private practice in Seattle, WA. She facilitates Circle of Healing from Abuse Groups and is available for facilitating Workshops.
Ms. Wedman specializes in working issues related to Trauma, including Sexual Abuse, Physical Abuse, Crime Victims, Domestic Violence, Chronic Verbal and Emotional Abuse, and Natural Disasters. Interconnected with her work with trauma issues, she helps people with the following conditions and problems: Depression, Low Self-Esteem, Anxiety, Stress Management, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Grief and Loss, and Relationship Dissolution (break-ups, divorce, relationship rebound).
Counseling is about building a relationship in which Healing can Happen. I also believe in affordable counseling. Therefore I provide the following services as a regular part of my practice:
